Chinese textile exports for yarns, fabrics, garments and accessories of woven interlining, non-woven interlining and fusible interlining in Jiangsu were doing a good business in the first quarter of 2011. $910 million worth of textile products were sold to the global market, which is an increase of 38.2 percent year-on year, according to a local customs house.
"This is really a brilliant business" Sam Lee said, a senior officer from Interlining Source Limited.
Jiangsu is a province lying in the east part of China, which is a strong province for textile exports, including garment accessories such as woven interlining, non-woven interlining and fusible interlining.

The interlining industry in China is already in a hard time caused by the increasing labor cost, as well as the appreciation of the Yuan. Despite, the volatile cotton prices make times even harder for an interlining supplier on woven interlining, non-woven interlining and fusible interlining.
From May last year after a hard experience on the cotton price surge, many textile manufacturers and interlining suppliers increased their regular stocks of cotton raw material last year to counter the possibility of continuing increasing on cotton price. However, an unexpected plunge on prices resulted in massive losses on the manufacturers.

With the government’s great efforts to develop the south west region in China, Chengdu and Chongqing have been among the top investment destinations in the country. Some business executives from US and Europe agreed.
“The two cities, Chengdu and Chongqing, have their own competitive edge to be listed on the top investment destinations,” Sam Lee said, the managing director of Interlining Source Limited. “I think these cities will provide great business opportunities for many industries.”
Chengdu and Chongqing may become a wonderland for manufacturing industries, with no exception to interlining industry for woven interlining, non-woven interlining and fusible interlining.

The current biggest challenge in China is not inflation but maintaining sustainable growth by shifting its economic structure, a famous economist pointed out this Monday.
“The national direction regarding the economic restructuring is to build a customer-led economy in the post-crisis environment,” said Sam Lee, the Managing Director in Interlining Source Limited. “This is the overriding challenge in China, and the government is trying to find more balanced way to ensure sustainable economic growth.”
